Mohamed Salah's agent sends Liverpool contract message as Jurgen Klopp makes Chelsea point

Here is your Liverpool digest for Saturday, March 12.

Jurgen Klopp makes Vladimir Putin point after Roman Abramovich sanctioned

Jurgen Klopp believes the UK Government were right to sanction Roman Abramovich but shared his sympathy for Thomas Tuchel and the Chelsea squad.

It was confirmed yesterday that the Russian would be sanctioned as part of the UK's response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, due to his close ties with Vladimir Putin, with Abramovich no longer able to make any money or benefit from Chelsea.

His sale of the club is now on hold as a result, while the Londoners aren't permitted to buy players, offer new contracts or sell any match tickets or merchandise as part of the ruling.

And when asked for his view on the latest goings-on at Chelsea, Klopp pointed the finger at Russia President Putin when voicing his support of the Government's decision.

Mohamed Salah agent gives game away with Jurgen Klopp ‘reaction’

It took Ramy Abbas Issa little more than an hour to seemingly react to Jurgen Klopp’s latest claims about Mohamed Salah’s contract negotiations at Liverpool.

And if that hadn’t been enough to shake faith in Salah’s future, his agent’s apparent response on Twitter certainly did.
