Mohamed Salah has been caught having an awkward exchange with old foe Sergio Ramos at a Dubai award ceremony.
The Liverpool forward, who was crowned as TikTok Fan's Player of the Year on Thursday evening ahead of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland at a lavish bash, came face to face with Ramos - who famously injured the Egyptian superstar in the 2018 Champions League final in Kyiv.
Salah was forced off during the final - which Ramos and Real Madrid eventually won 3-1 - following an ugly clash with the Spanish defender; an incident that Salah claimed was the "worst moment" of his career ahead of Liverpool's latest showdown with the Spanish giants earlier this year.
But a clip, which was shared by Dubai Sports Council, showed Salah embracing Ramos, who were both joined by AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Although Salah's night ended in heartbreak at the hands of Ramos, he fought back and scored the first goal in the following final 12 months later as Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-0 to avenge their defeat against Los Blancos.
Speaking a year later, Salah revealed how the devastating shoulder injury he sustained at the hands of Ramos affected him mentally - admitting that it was a tough blow for him to overcome.

Speaking back in 2019, Salah said: "When I think about it, it was very, very bad. The final of the Champions League, a big dream for yourself, for the city, for the fans and for everyone. We wanted to win the Champions League.
“And that time, mentally, it was very, very bad. Especially when I got substituted, I went to the dressing room and was just crying because I felt like the Champions League was over and the World Cup was over, so it was very tough for me at that moment.
“I think it still hurts until now, because you didn’t win it. You were close to winning the Champions League, and you didn’t win it."
Although Salah has seemingly buried the hatchet with Ramos, who is now on the books at Paris Saint-Germain, the Reds star admitted back in 2019 that he hadn't discussed the incident with the ex-Real centre-half - and stressed ahead of the 2022 Champions League final that he was gunning for "revenge".
When he was asked if he had the chance to speak to Ramos since the match, Salah retorted back in 2019: “Oh no. I didn’t speak to him and for me the subject is closed. I’m not talking about him now. I’m just talking about the injury.”
