US President Donald Trump is set to hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Evian-les-Bains, France, a senior US administration official confirmed Friday, as Washington also declared it believes it has a "strong" deal with Iran to end the ongoing conflict and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

According to a statement by the White House, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the US President Donald Trump will meet in France.
