The Moderna Covid-19 vaccine has been approved for children between the ages of six and 11, Britain's medicines regulator said today.
The vaccine was approved by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), and will still need to be considered by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) if it will be offered.
The Moderna jab, also known as Spikevax, had already been approved for children over 12.
