According to Rightmove, properties in Billinge had an overall average price of £228,130 over the last 12 months. Most of those sales during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £215,704.
However detached properties sold for an average of £295,918, with terraced properties fetching £170,471. Overall, sold prices in Billinge over the last year were 5% up on the previous year and 14% up on the 2018 peak of £199,720.
Despite the farmhouse being significantly more expensive than the area's average price, the home is just one of a small few of its size on sale in the region. Another similar property, is priced over the million pound mark at £1,350,000 , just a mile away on Alder Lane. While another is priced at £725,000 on Carr Mill Road, just 0.3miles away.
