Model turned to drug-dealing when work 'dried up'

A model turned to dealing drugs when work 'dried up' during the Covid pandemic, a court heard.

Marcus Adigun, who was previously signed to a professional football club, turned to criminality as he needed money 'to get through a difficult period'. The 29-year-old actor and model, from Manchester, sold cocaine, cannabis, ketamine and nitrous oxide.

Police uncovered his drug-dealing after Adigun was spotted next to a car behaving 'erratically' on May 5, 2021, Leeds Crown Court heard. Officers searched the car and inside discovered two packages of white rock, which went on to be tested and confirmed to be cocaine.
