MLP Challenger League Draft Recap: Teams Disbanded, Roster Changes Revealed

MLP Challenger EPL
MLP Challenger League draft featured 10 teams and 40 players.

The Major League Pickleball (MLP) Challenger League draft for the 2024 season took place following an eventful Premier League bid and draft session. Unlike the Premier League's unique bidding process, the Challenger League opted for a traditional Fantasy sports-style snake draft with predetermined draft slots.

The draft saw the unexpected removal of two MLP teams, the Austin Pickleballers and the Milwaukee Mashers, by the United Pickleball Association. The reasons behind this decision remain undisclosed, leading to speculation about the impact of the MLP merger on team ownership.
