Sony San Diego Studios recently released the fifth patch update for MLB The Show 24, following a significant content drop on April 12. This update, launched on March 18, brought some minor changes without affecting gameplay or live content balance.
The latest update introduced two playable modes in Showdown. Players can opt for the Extreme version, offering a higher difficulty range culminating in a final boss battle against Cincinnati Reds legend Rob Dibble. The other mode presents the same pitchers with a lower difficulty level, providing a different challenge.
