It would be easy to forgive Mitch Wishnowsky for the onside kick. After all, he is the punter for the San Francisco 49ers.
The game was out of hand with the Chiefs leading late, 28-18.
Still, Kyle Shanahan asked Wishnowsky to try an onside kick. You know make it go 10 yards and see if SF could recover.
And then this happened: M.Wishnowsky kicks onside 4 yards from SF 35 to SF 39, ball declared dead.
