Mitch McConnell's prolonged absence has taken another strange turn after footage reportedly showed boxes for motorised lift recliners inside the veteran senator's home, prompting renewed questions about his health and why he has remained largely out of public view for weeks.
The footage was discussed in a podcast episode published 4 September, where the host pointed to a video filmed by Alicia McMillan and shared by independent journalist Desiree Townsend. The recording reportedly captured boxes for Macombo lift recliners visible through McConnell's briefly opened front door.
