Scots cops have issued an appeal for information to trace a missing man from Lanarkshire who may have travelled as far afield as Glencoe.
Adam Nair is originally from East Kilbride but was last seen in Paisley at around 11am on Thursday November 3. Police believe the 73-year-old may have left the Renfrewshire town and made for the Highlands, possibly in a blue Volkswagen Polo with the registration number SM08 UJH.
He is described as being around 5ft 9in in height, of medium build, largely bald with short white hair around the sides of his head. He wears glasses, and when last seen he was wearing a dark blue parka jacket.
Police divisions across Renfrewshire, Lanarkshire and the Highlands have issued appeals for information in the hope that officers can trace his steps. Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 1898 of 3 November, 2022.
Sergeant Victoria Shanley said: “We are appealing for the help of the public to trace Adam and would ask anyone who has seen anyone matching his description or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact us.
“Additionally, I would ask anyone who has seen his vehicle to get in touch.”
