The family of a man who was last seen leaving home with camping equipment and his dog one week ago say they're growing increasingly concerned for his wellbeing.
Colin McBeath was spotted leaving his home in Cupar, Fife, at around 9am on Monday March 21 2022, with the outdoors gear and his brown Border Terrier in tow.
The 54-year-old's family have not heard from him since then.
Police issued an appeal in a bid to trace his whereabouts at lunchtime on Monday, more than seven days after he was last seen.
Colin is described as a white male, around 5ft 7ins tall, and of medium build.
He has a long beard, is balding, and normally wears a baseball cap. His brown Border Terrier is normally seen in a blue coat.
Colin is known to enjoy hillwalking and camping, and is known to have travelled as far as Skye in the past - however, officers are at a loss as to where he is likely to have gone.
Sergeant Andy Kirk, of Fife Police Division, said: "Colin has not been seen for a week now and concerns are growing for his wellbeing."
Anyone who may have seen Colin or has any information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 2988 of March 26 2022.
