A Nottinghamshire man has been found dead almost one week after going missing. Reece Jobling went missing after leaving his home in Radcliffe-on-Trent on Wednesday, May 17.
Friends, family and police have searched much of south Nottinghamshire for the 27-year-old recruitment worker over the past week. His younger brother Jack Allison said at the time that they were "very scared" about his disappearance, which was the second time within a month.
Nottinghamshire Police confirmed that Reece was found dead at the River Weir in Radcliffe on Tuesday, May 23. The force said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
"Police were called to the River Weir in Radcliffe on May 23," they said in a statement. "A 27-year-old man was found deceased.
"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. A report is being prepared for the coroner. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very difficult time.”
