The strikes, which started on Thursday, aimed at villages alongside towns in the Idlib and Aleppo upcountry, amounted to civilian deaths and damage to important amenities.
The affected infrastructure entailed popular markets, residential neighborhoods, learning centers , mosques, emergency places, electricity amenities, and fuel service stations.
The Syrian Civil Defense – the White Helmets confirmed that the wounded were 18 children as well as 13 women, with 62 people suffering from the strikes.
“These attacks come amid an escalation in the Syrian regime’s military operations over the past few days, following the “ammunition marches attack” on the Military College in Homs. The assailants behind the Homs attack, which resulted in hundreds of casualties, have not been definitively identified. The attacks are attributed to “terrorist organizations supported by well-known countries,” said the Syrian Ministry of Defense.
“The White Helmets civil defense formation, forces, which are loyal to President Bashar al-Assad conducted “intense and systematic artillery and missile attacks” on at least 15 villages and towns near Idlib and Aleppo,” said an official from the Defense Team.
“The attacks hit “marketplaces, residential areas, four schools, a mosque, a Syrian Civil Defense center, as well as an electricity facility and a fuel station,” said the group.
Two individuals were killed on Friday while thirteen perished on Thursday. Almost 81 have been injured in total, including twenty seven minors and nineteen women.
“The shelling struck at night, leaving his family and young daughter trembling from fear,” said Abdulkafi Alhamdo, a 38-year-old from Idlib.

“The Syrian regime doesn’t need an excuse to bomb and kill civilians. Whenever there is an attack on a military position in the regime areas, the Syrian regime causes a big reaction to convince people that they are taking revenge, but all they are doing is sacrificing pawns,” Rawd Amin a civilian explained.
