Yes, it’s a bit cheeky to peek at the presents behind this advent calendar’s doors – but it’s important to know what we’re getting ourselves into here, right? In F&M’s own words, this calendar plays host to several items ‘to brew, bake, nibble, stir and share’, with every day marking a new foray into the realms of uber-indulgent foods.
As for my own personal highlights, The Midnight Feast Chocolate Hedgehogs are a particular favourite of mine, and quite frankly the temptation to rip open each advent door in search of them will be the main challenge. Otherwise, I’ll be lying in anxious wait for the days when I can find the Chocolate Chestnut Liqueur or the Mulled Wine Spice Box. As it turns out, I’m a glutton for a Fortnum’s sweet treat.
