Miss North Carolina stripped of title due to conduct over an ‘extended period of time’

Brittany Boltinhouse was stripped of her Miss North Carolina USA title just weeks after being crowned.
The Miss USA Organization cited conduct violating its standards, including racism , homophobia , or transphobia , discovered after a thorough review.
Chairman and CEO Thom Brodeur stated that the conduct was not a single incident but reflected behavior over an extended period.
Although Boltinhouse apologized, Brodeur emphasized it did not change the outcome, and she has yet to make a public statement.
Myla Hadley, the contest's first runner-up, has now assumed the title of Miss North Carolina USA.
