Mircea Lucescu, Romanian football legend and coach, dies aged 80

Mircea Lucescu, the Romanian football great who was a serial trophy winner as a player and a coach, has died aged 80.

Bucharest University Emergency Hospital confirmed Lucescu’s death Tuesday. The football legend had been hospitalized after reportedly suffering a heart attack Friday morning.
