Minister Eamon Ryan promises thousands more electric vehicle chargers across Ireland in €100m plan

Eamon Ryan has promised a massive electric charging network will be in place within three years to help the Government meet its ambitious target of having one million EVs (Electric Vehicles) on our roads by 2030.

The Transport Minister has promised that there will be special high-powered fast chargers located every 60kms on the country’s main road networks to service the growing EV fleet.

The rollout of chargers will be ramped up in the coming weeks and months with chargers being unveiled in sports and community centres from the week after next, Mr Ryan said.
