A boy dubbed a 'mini Del Boy' attempted to sell his dad's watch on Vinted - in a bid to buy a bike. He logged into his mum's account in a bid to make some extra money but fortunately for the cheeky eight-year-old, she saw the funny side.
Ash Capel was tucking Casey into bed when he gave his plot away by warning her not to check her account that evening. She then logged onto the selling app, only to discover her son had listed his dad's watch for £100.
The young Del Boy in the making listed the Hugo Boss item as 'Dad's watch' and put the brand name as 'NICE'. He also added photos showing him modelling it - in one strapping it around a giant Mickey Mouse glove.
And it wasn't the only item of jewellery Casey had swiped - as he can also be seen wearing one of her most precious rings in the pictures, the Mirror reports. Ash, 34, said he he must have been inspired by her recently trying to sell an old pair of his shoes online.
She said: "We couldn't believe it. He helped me list his old walking boots a couple of weeks back and I told him if they sell, he can keep the money, so he must've had that on his mind!"
Ash, from Surrey, continued: "It made us laugh so much. This is him all over. He's so cheeky and always trying to make money. He wants a dirt bike which we've told him he has to save up for.
"He once made me a ring because he loves me so much. But then he told me I'd need to give him £20 if I wanted to keep it!"
Unfortunately for Casey, no one made any offers on the watch online before the listing was taken down by his parents. However, his antics have gone down a treat with the family's friends and family on social media.
One described him as a "Proper Del Boy" while another praised him as "a born entrepreneur".
