A new blockbuster stadium has launched in virtual platform, Minecraft. The epic stadium, built in 150 hours and with 1.3 million blocks by The Hundred, is inspired by 10 dream designs from children across the UK, the only fan-built cricket ground to feature on the world famous game.
The wacky and wonderful Space Bowl, which floats in space, features an array of showstopping features including interactive fireworks and games, a rollercoaster, a see-through wicket, interactive disco lights, a sea creature-filled moat, cricket-ball shaped VIP boxes and much more.
With the help of 10 imaginative children, The Hundred, cricket’s revolutionary competition which fuses blockbuster entertainment with world-class cricket, has unveiled an immersive stadium build in the world’s biggest sandbox video game, Minecraft. With over six million children in the UK playing Minecraft weekly, the creation of this virtual stadium will engage a wide audience of young fans and take cricket into their world to excite them about this summer’s competition.
