Madalsa Sharma aka Kavya from Anupamaa had turned negative on the show sometime ago. But slowly one can see that her character is becoming positive again. Ask her about this change and she says, “Kavya has always been a character with grey shades, but now she turned positive and I am enjoying playing that because it is a change for me, too.” Did she ask for a change, given that her character was getting annoyingly negative? She says, “No, I didn’t speak to the creative team about this. I think it was the writer’s decision to make my role positive as per the story requirement.”
The actress is married to Mahaakshay Chakraborty aka Mimoh (Mithun Chakraborthy’s son) and the two have been married for four years. Madalsa says she is happy to have struck a balance between her work and home life. She says, “We have a very simple funda in life — when we are both working, we focus on our work, but when we are at home together, we cut off from our work and focus on our personal lives. We detach ourselves from the outside world. We have a non-filmi environment at home just like any other family and that’s how we strike a balance.”
