For about two hours on Monday night, something in Milwaukee made a noise that nobody had been able to explain as of Wednesday, and that some residents swear was repeating the words 'bad boy'.
People living more than a mile and a half apart heard it on 21 September, from the streets near the Rockwell Automation clock tower down to Baran Park. Descriptions vary between a mechanical screech and a looping recorded voice.
