The latest update from the National Hurricane Center indicates that Hurricane Milton is maintaining winds of 85 mph and is currently positioned 75 miles off of Florida's Atlantic coast. While storm surge warnings have expired for the Gulf Coast of Florida, challenging conditions persist along the state's Atlantic Coast.

Residents in east-central and northeastern Florida are advised to remain cautious as damaging winds are expected to persist for a few more hours. Additionally, there remains a risk of storm surge along the east coast of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina this morning.
