Nottingham Forest invited a young fan to the City Ground as a guest of Miltiadis Marinakis to show support after it was revealed he was being bullied at school.
Freddie, who lives in Nottingham, was given the VIP treatment at Forest's Championship clash with Stoke City on Saturday at the City Ground.
His mum Fran had taken to social media earlier this month to speak out about her son's plight.
She posted: "No worse feeling as a parent than when your kid is being bullied. he’s so sad I really don’t know how to cheer him up.
"Relentless digs about his height, getting pushed about by lads double his size. So unfair. Here is him happy I want this smile back."
The social media post resulted in all corners of the football community coming together to support young Freddie and show that bullies never win.
Among those to respond to the tweet was Arsenal star Alexander Lacazette and Gunners legend Alex Scott, who both invited him to matches with the men's and women's senior teams.
And the 12-year-old Forest fan was also invited along to Forest as a guest of Miltiadis, son of owner Evangelos, for the 2-2 draw with Stoke.
He met Miltiadis, head coach Steve Cooper and Middlesbrough loanee Djed Spence, who he cheekily asked to sign for his second club, Arsenal.
Freddie saw Brennan Johnson give Forest a second-half lead before Josh Maja cancelled out the opener just over 10 minutes later.
Goalkeeper Brice Samba was sent off for a clash with Phil Jagielka, leading to Joe Worrall going in goal, and Lewis Baker scored the resulting penalty for Stoke.
But a stoppage-time header from Ryan Yates salvaged a point in dramatic fashion to keep up Forest's pursuit of the play-offs.
