Millions of people have now viewed Barry Keoghan's deleted Joker scene that was released this week.
In the blockbuster Batman movie, recently released to cinemas worldwide, Keoghan has a mysterious cameo at the end, leaving fans speculating about his role in future films.
And confirming rumours the star is set to play The Joker, the newly released clip shows Batman star Robert Pattinson visiting Keoghan's character in action as the infamous villain in Arkham Asylum.
The Dubliner looks unrecognisable as the dishevelled prisoner, as Pattinson’s character makes a visit to seek his help.

Separated from each other by a glass panel, Batman passed him a stack of papers, and says: “It’s a serial killer, I need your perspective. I thought you’d be curious.”
And the clip has been viewed by millions of people already, many of whom have been jumping to the same harsh conclusion - but not for the Irishman.
Instead Jared Leto, who previously played the Joker, was the butt of many jokes with many saying the Dubliner is already a better Joker from just one scene.
One tweet, liked over 10,000 times, said: "2 minutes of Barry Keoghan's joker and he's already better than Jared Leto's joker."
Thomas Thorburn agreed: "Barry Keoghan proved he's a better joker in a deleted scene than Jared Leto."
Keoghan shared the post of the clip this week, writing: "No words'.
He added: "Honestly I am stuck for words but I am very very BLESSED to play this role after the AMAZING AMAZING Actors before me.
"Here’s my version. Enjoy."
In a previous interview with Collider, Reeves spoke about why he took the scene out of the final version of the film.
“Not because anyone asked me to cut it, but [I didn’t think] it was necessary,” he explained. “But it’s a really cool scene with that same unseen prisoner in Arkham.”
Love/Hate star Keoghan has been avoiding questions about the nature of his role in the franchise before the big reveal this week.
Whilst he openly put his name in the running for Bond, the Marvel Eternals star kept tight-lipped on his recent debut in The Batman, and what is to come from his character in the franchise.
Asked on RTE Radio 1’s The Ryan Tubridy Show why he was at the premier for the movie, he said: “I’m in it, you know I’m in it.”
“I’m just going to cut this conversation now Ryan, yeah. I’m on the second last scene, go see it. It’s three hours long, it will be the best three hours of your life.”
Host Ryan went on to quip: “Do you know what you are, you’re a joker”.
After asking presenter to move on to avoid him getting into trouble for giving away any information, the Dubliner went on to explain: “No, I mean you have to, it shows how professional you are, like I won't comment I won't say anything.
“You know you you want to keep that professionalism going forward. And for Marvel DC and every other project.”
