Millions of new 10p coins are entering circulation. Here’s how to spot one

Royal Mint the Royal Mint UK Finance United Kingdom King Charles III

Over seven million 10p pieces featuring the King’s portrait are being released into general UK circulation for the first time, and will soon begin appearing in everyday pockets and wallets nationwide.

The Royal Mint confirmed that 600,000 coins bearing a 2023 date alongside 6.5 million carrying a 2026 date are being distributed across the country to meet a heightened demand for the 10p denomination.
