Caldy has one of the highest overall average house prices in Merseyside, according to Rightmove, properties in the area had an average price of £896,032 over the last year. Most of the sales in the last 12 months were detached properties, selling for an average price of £948,696.
While semi-detached properties sold for an average of £517,500, with terraced properties fetching £510,000. Overall, sold prices in Caldy over the last year were 16% up on the previous year and 38% up on the 2006 peak of £647,862.
On Mereworth, homes have recently sold after being listed for £1,050,000 and £775,000. Less than 0.1 miles away, similar sized homes that were put up for sale for £815,000 on Parkdale and £950,000 on Barton Hey Drive, sold in the last year.
Images of the property show that it is spread across two floors and there's a detached garage. Inside it is "immaculately" presented, with two of the bedrooms benefitting from en-suite bathrooms.
Downstairs the kitchen/diner opens out to a patio area outside and the landscaped gardens. The gardens include well stocked borders, manicured lawns and a raised patio. It also benefits from getting the sun which is ideal in summer months.
