Millie Bobby Brown is pushing back once again against the reports claiming that David Harbour harassed her on the set of Stranger Things. The rumors have been circulating for weeks, but she made her stance clear during a conversation with Deadline on Friday. The 21 year old actress said she “felt safe” working with David throughout their years on Netflix’s hit series.
“Of course I felt safe, I mean, we’ve worked together for 10 years,” she told the outlet while talking about her relationship with David on set. She went on to add “I feel safe with everyone on that set,” which gives a sense of how close the cast has grown after so many seasons together.

David plays Hawkins police chief Jim Hopper in the sci fi horror series and his character has been an adoptive father figure to Millie’s Eleven since the beginning. Their on screen bond reflects years of intense scenes and emotional storylines, something Millie pointed out as she described how their working dynamic developed. “You naturally just… you know, you’ve been doing it for so long.

We also play father and daughter so naturally, we have a closer bond than the rest because we have had some really intense scenes together, especially in season 2,” she said.

She also talked about how much work goes into shaping their scenes together, explaining that “David and I have a great relationship, we work really closely together in the scenes and preparing for the scenes and I really am excited to see… for everyone to see the labor of love and hard work we’ve put into the closure of our relationship and what that looks like.”
Her comments echo what she recently told THR, where she clarified that “We love this show with everything, and we value our friendship more than anything.” Those remarks came shortly after The Daily Mail claimed on November 1 that the actress “filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season” of Stranger Things. Her latest statements leave no doubt about how she feels regarding her time on set and her bond with David Harbour.
