Millie Bobby Brown has pushed back against reports that accused David Harbour of bullying and harassing her during the filming of the final season of Stranger Things. The 21-year-old actress addressed the allegations in an interview published Wednesday by The Hollywood Reporter, offering a clear defence of both their friendship and their working relationship.

“We love this show with everything, and we value our friendship more than anything,” Millie said when asked about her current dynamic with Harbour.

When the outlet pressed her on why she felt it was important for the cast to show unity amid controversy, the actress explained that their bond is not new. “We’ve been doing that for the last 10 years. I mean, we have always been united in that,” she said.

The comments follow a Daily Mail report earlier this month claiming that Millie “filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season” of the Netflix hit. According to the publication, an unnamed insider alleged that “there were pages and pages of accusations.”

Millie stars as Eleven in Stranger Things, while Harbour portrays police chief Jim Hopper. Their characters share some of the series’ most emotional storylines, and both actors have regularly spoken about the close bond they formed while working together over the past decade.

Netflix released the first part of the show’s long-awaited final season earlier this month. The second part will arrive on December 25, giving fans a major holiday release. The series finale is scheduled to be available on December 31, marking the end of one of the platform’s most successful and culturally influential original shows.

Brown’s decision to speak out comes at a critical moment for the series, as the cast and creators promote the final episodes while navigating heightened media attention. Her remarks attempt to put an end to speculation that a rift existed between her and Harbour, reinforcing the image of a cast that has remained close despite the pressures that came with the show’s global success.

As the countdown to the final episode continues, fans are shifting their focus back to the story’s end rather than the off-screen rumours. With the beloved series concluding on New Year’s Eve, viewers are preparing to say goodbye to a show that has defined nearly a decade of streaming television.
