A van crashed outside a Merseyside park, spilling milk across the road.
Pictures shared with the ECHO show a milk van stopped at the roundabout on Park Crescent, near Hesketh Park, in Southport this morning (June 10). Milk bottles had fallen out of the van and the milk had spread across the road.
Merseyside Police confirmed that officers were called to Park Crescent at 9.51am. as a van has been involved in a single-vehicle crash. No injuries were reported but a clean-up operation was underway to clear glass and milk.

People in the area reported a significant smell from the spilt milk, compounded by the hot weather.
