Britain stands by its values, Andy Burnham says after West Bank sanctions

Prime Minister Andy Burnham has said “Britain will continue to act in support of our values” after his Government triggered a diplomatic row by announcing sanctions on illegal West Bank settlements.

Mr Burnham said the action is aimed “not at the Israeli people”, but at bringing peace in the region.
