Miley Cyrus is not one to rest on her laurels, as she is already teasing a new song titled “Doctor (Work It Out)” just weeks after her successful night at the Grammys. The track, a collaboration with Pharrell, is set to feature vocals from both artists, who have a history of working together.
Although no official release date has been announced, Cyrus recently shared the cover art for the upcoming single, hinting that its release may be imminent. Interestingly, “Doctor (Work It Out)” was actually written and recorded over a decade ago during the making of Cyrus’ album Bangerz in 2013, but it did not make the final cut at the time.
Despite its earlier obscurity, a snippet of the song leaked online in 2017, giving fans a taste of what was to come. Pharrell later used an updated version of the track for a runway show with Louis Vuitton, further fueling anticipation for its official release.
Meanwhile, Cyrus continues to bask in the glow of her recent Grammy wins, where she took home two awards for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for her hit single “Flowers.” The song, which was also crowned the No. 1 song in the world in 2023, has solidified Cyrus’ status as a powerhouse in the music industry.
