Here is your Arsenal transfer roundup on Tuesday, November 22.
Mikel Arteta driving Marco Asensio interest
According to a report from Spain, Mikel Arteta is the main man driving Arsenal’s interest in Marco Asensio. Once valued at around £80million, Asensio comes with a £20million price tag these days but will be available for nothing in the summer.
Last summer, Arsenal reportedly made an offer of £34million for the Spanish forward, a player they have been linked with since before he signed for Real Madrid in 2014. 18 months on and the 26-year-old could well be available for a reduced price in January as he sees out the final year of his deal in Spain.

Liverpool look to hijack Ruben Neves transfer
Liverpool are reportedly considering a January approach for Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves after putting in 'major work' during the summer.
Jurgen Klopp is thought to have midfield reinforcements at the top of his priority list for the mid-season window, with much of this season's struggles traced back to issues in the centre of the park. The Reds have long been linked with a summer move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, but could be keen on adding their other midfield targets as quickly as possible. According to TEAMTalk, they have put in 'major work' on Neves over the summer, and both could be approached come January.
Arsenal have previously been linked with a move for the Portuguese star but a move has never materialised.
Edu told how to secure Danilo January transfer deal
After multiple reports regarding the Gunners' interest in Palmeiras midfielder Danilo, Edu has been told how he can secure the Brazilian's signature in the January transfer window, as per Sport Witness. Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola has detailed the players who may leave Palmeiras in the next couple of months, with the 21-year-old midfielder featuring as one of the main candidates.
The reporter outlines that Arsenal offered £21million for Danilo on Deadline Day in the summer transfer window, a bid which was turned down by Palmeiras at the time, but things may now have changed for the Brazilian outfit. “If this proposal is repeated, Palmeiras should end up negotiating the athlete,” says Jorge Nicola, hinting that a new bid from Arsenal may be accepted.
At the time of the Gunners’ offer in the summer, Palmeiras were still fighting for the Copa Libertadores and Brazilian League titles, so the club didn't want to lose a key player mid-season.
