Sometimes actions speak louder than words, and this could very well be the case with regards to Mikel Arteta attempting to remain coy over Arsenal's move for Oleksandr Zinchenko.
It has been widely reported that the Gunners are closing on their fifth signing of the summer transfer window after agreeing to a fee in the region of £32m with Manchester City after sorting personal terms with the Ukraine international and scheduling a medical to take place in the USA.
Whilst all signs point towards Arsenal being in a position to announce the signing of Zinchenko very soon and then move on to pursue other targets before the transfer window closes at the beginning of September, in typical fashion, Arteta has refused to comment on such speculation.

"There is no update with anybody, and when there are updates, we will let you know," he told reporters. "We're looking at different options in different positions, and we'll give you an update when we have it. We've been trying to [sign players earlier], and we have two recruitments already.
"Until the end of the market, we will keep trying to improve the squad, and there are so many parties involved, and sometimes things are not as quick as you want."
Whilst that response did not confirm Zinchenko's move, some Arsenal fans on Reddit are adamant that Arteta copied something former manager Arsene Wenger used to do right before concluding a deal. Smile after when talking about a player being linked with a move to the club.
Described as Wenger's 'transfer grin' by some Gunners fans, the Frenchman did this before concluding deals for the likes of Santi Cazorla, Mesut Ozil, and Alexis Sanchez. In fact, in the Spaniard's case, he actually denied knowing who the midfielder was and played down moves for the latter duo.
Of course, Arteta can't pretend he doesn't know who Zinchenko is, as the pair worked alongside each other at the Etihad Stadium when the Spaniard was in his role as Pep Guardiola's assistant for over three years.
