Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz could both to return for Arsenal when they travel to face Tottenham in the north London derby.

The Gunners face their bitter rivals on Sunday and Mikel Arteta knows his side must swiftly get back to winning ways.

Arsenal have won just two of their last seven Premier League matches, a poor run extended by a draw with Wolves on Wednesday night, and it means their lead at the top of the table over Manchester City is five points, having played a game more.

Odegaard missed the trip to Molineux, having been out of the last two matches with a knee problem, but Arteta confirmed his captain could be involved against Spurs this weekend.

Kai Havertz, meanwhile, is also in contention to make his comeback from a minor knock that has kept his out of Arsenal’s last three games.

The German has not played since the win over Sunderland earlier this month, having picked up a hamstring problem.

"We have to wait until tomorrow,” Arteta said.

“There is a big possibility that they are available.”

Leandro Trossard was brought on as a substitute against Wolves but then had to be replaced himself after taking a blow to the head.

Arteta also provided an update on the Belgian at his pre-match press conference, confirming the forward is fine and available for selection against Spurs.
