Mikel Arteta says he's not thinking about a possible move to Newcastle United for out of favour left-back Kieran Tierney. The Gunners defender has struggled for game time this season following the arrival and fine form of Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Tierney arrived at the Emirates from Scottish Premiership side Celtic and has been a mainstay in the backline since arriving in North London, prior to this season. The Premier League table toppers have found another gear this season but it's seen Tierney play just 460 minutes of top-flight action.
For Eddie Howe and Newcastle United, a left-back remains high up on their summer wish list with Dan Burn filling the void of Matt Targett, who has struggled with injuries.

When asked if Tierney will be moved on later down the line, Arteta said: "I don’t know, I’m not thinking about it.
"I’m thinking about what’s best for the team and obviously and the players with the right to play minutes which they all deserve and we’re going to try to do that in the next couple of games."
Tierney is said to be open to a move to St. James' Park in the summer if he isn't given the game time he's asking for at the Emirates.
Howe himself was quizzed on possible incomings to strengthen to squad following defeat in the Carabao Cup Final. He said: "Every game gives that clue of where you need to strengthen. We are always analysing where we can improve and how we need to get better.
"I don’t think there will be any overreaction to this game in particular but certainly we know how and what we need to do to push the team on."
