Leandro Trossard has hit the ground running since joining Arsenal during the January transfer window.
The Belgian international was signed from Brighton for a fee in the region of £21million plus add-ons, football.london understands. Since then, he has played 390 minutes in the Premier League, scoring once and providing a further five assists - meaning he is currently averaging a direct goal contribution in the league every 65 minutes for the north Londoners.
Trossard's most recent outing came during a 3-0 victory over Fulham on Sunday afternoon when he assisted all three of the Gunners' goals to restore their five-point lead at the top of the table. This led to some Arsenal supporters comparing the 28-year-old to Santi Cazorla, who played at the Emirates Stadium between 2012 and 2018, winning three FA Cups in the process.

"Wears number 19 (tick emoji) Scored a hat-trick of goals and assists in the same season (tick emoji) Iconic celebration (tick emoji)," Reddit user topbananaman posted alongside a picture of Cazorla and Trossard. The statistic refers to Cazorla's 2012/13 campaign, when he provided a whopping four assists during a win against Wigan in the same season he netted a hat-trick during a game versus Reading.
Of course, Trossard set up three goals during the aforementioned triumph at Craven Cottage having also scored three times for Brighton during a 3-3 draw with Liverpool earlier this season.
