Arsenal have been boosted by the news that Leeds United stars Maximilian Wober and Wilfried Gnonto will not be available for selection on Saturday. The Gunners are preparing to resume their Premier League title race with Manchester City as they look to maintain their eight-point lead at the top of the table.
Mikel Arteta is facing a number of injury concerns of his own ahead of the clash, with William Saliba and Eddie Nketiah yet to return to training. Thomas Partey struggled with injury problems during the international break but was present in training on Thursday afternoon and looks set to be available for selection.
Kieran Tierney was also a minor concern after being substituted during Scotland's 2-0 win against Spain earlier this week, but the left-back was spotted taking part in the session alongside Partey. Gabriel Jesus has had two weeks to build up his fitness after being omitted from Brazil's latest international fixtures and is likely to start against Javi Gravia's side.

The Gunners will be pleased to avoid facing Gnonto, who has impressed for the Whites this term, whilst Wober's absence will weaken United's defensive options. Speaking at his pre-Arsenal press conference, Leeds boss Gracia said: "For sure we know we are playing against the team on the top.
"It will be very demanding. But to get a result, the first step is to believe that you can. The team believe.
"We had some big problems for us - we lost important players for the next games. Tyler Adams is set to miss the game against the Gunners after undergoing surgery following a hamstring problem.
Gracia added: "We will see his [Adams] evolution. We'll see if he can play any games this season, day by day." The Spanish manager added that both Gnonto and Wober will miss the game through injury.
Arsenal are looking to pick up where they left off in the Premier League and continue their winning run heading into the final 10 games of the season.
