Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta described his side's second-half performance as 'incredible' after they beat Manchester United 3-2 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon to move five points clear at the top of the Premier League.
Eddie Nketiah netted a late winner to seal a seventh win in the Gunners' last eight league games, tightening their grip at the summit. United looked set to head back to M16 with a respectable point after Lisandro Martinez had made it 2-2 just before the hour mark.
Arsenal had turned the game on its head inside the opening 10 minutes of the second half, going 2-1 up courtesy of a brilliant effort from Bukayo Saka. Nketiah had earlier brought the Gunners level after Marcus Rashford gave United a 17th-minute lead.

Though United looked set to earn a point, Arsenal were the better side in the second half and bombarded the visitors' 18-yard box in the latter stages of the contest in pursuit of a winner, which arrived after a late VAR check. For Arteta, his side got what they deserved.
"[It was] emotional, a lot of passion, a lot of quality," Arteta told Sky Sports. "It doesn't get much better than that.
"After the derby [vs Tottenham Hotspur], to come here against this team and play the way we played. The second half especially, the performance was incredible.
"To win it in that way makes it even better. We were composed and determined at the same time. We managed the moments in the game. We never panicked.
"We always believed that we could win it. We showed the right composure in the box a lot of times but the ball didn’t go in. Thankfully, at the end it did."
