Despite the anti-climactic end to the season, it was still a year to remember for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal in the Premier League last season.
The Gunners returned to the title conversation in 2022/23, narrowly missing out to eventual champions Manchester City after leading the League for much of the campaign. This improvement was partly down to their smart transfer business, with the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Leandro Trossard all making the move to the Emirates. This summer looks to be equally as important, as Arteta reshapes his squad to compete for both the title and in the Champions League.
