Arsenal's transfer business has been swift and effective, with five signings made before the start of the new Premier League season, spending over £100million to do so. The focus has since switched to outgoings, with plenty of fringe players moving on, with some more potentially following.
Mikel Arteta is seemingly reaping the rewards of the transfer strategy and a clear vision, winning all three of their opening three games to sit top of the Premier League table. With just over one week left in the window, there could be further additions to bolster the Spaniard's squad.
Discussing the transfer window, he said after the victory against Bournemouth: "We don’t like reacting obviously, we want to get the players that we believe will make a big impact in the team. If we can do that, we will try to do that. If we cannot, we will stay with the players we have."

While plenty of areas have been addressed in the market, one that is yet to be fully addressed is the midfield ranks. While Oleksandr Zinchenko and Fabio Vieira can add value in those areas, there could still be room for a box-to-box option to prevent a repeat of their depth problems from last campaign.
Should they look to be proactive and make a move for the midfield, it appears as though a shortlist may have been drafted for options to try and pursue. According to transfer guru Sacha Tavolieri, a three-man shortlist includes Youri Tielemans, Moises Caicedo and Sandro Tonali.
The reporter claims that Tielemans is the priority for Arteta and Edu, with a bid being readied in the coming week. It remains to be seen if that move can go ahead, though it could still depend on further exits before the deadline is reached, with other options also seemingly available to the Gunners.
