Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has declared new £27million signing Leandro Trossard "good to go" as he targets a debut for the club against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon (4.30pm).
Trossard, 28, has joined the table-topping Gunners from fellow Premier League team Brighton after netting seven goals and providing three assists in 16 appearances this season. He fell out with recently-appointed Seagulls coach Roberto De Zerbi, though, to provide the catalyst for his move to the Emirates Stadium.
Belgium international Trossard will add competition and versatility into the Arsenal attacking ranks and, according to Arteta, the player will be eligible to face United in their impending showdown. As with all signings, Trossard had to be registered by noon on Friday to feature this matchday.

During his pre-match press conference, Arteta said: "We are really happy to have him. He is a player that we have followed for a while now and the opportunity came [to sign him].
"We have that necessity, obviously, to have a new player in the front line that is versatile enough to play different positions. He knows the league, has enough experience and he can have an immediate impact in the team.
"It is very important [to have him ready]. We have to think short-term, but also medium and long-term and he can give us all of that, he is a very intelligent player and he fits in with our way of playing."
Arteta added: "He trained with us this morning. I think it [the paperwork] is done and he is good to go."
Trossard signed for Brighton from Genk in 2019 and made 121 appearances for them in all competitions. During that time, he scored 25 goals while adding 14 assists.
