Arsenal are reportedly wasting no time following what proved to be a frustrating and complicated January transfer window.
The Gunners went into the window hoping to land the reinforcements that would have helped them during their top four charge.
However, after targeting Dusan Vlahovic to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - who was allowed to join Barcelona - Arsenal lost out to Italian giants Juventus.
Manager Mikel Arteta has guided his side to the verge of the Champions League places, with games in hand meaning their destiny remains in their own hands.
But the Spaniard admitted that he had hoped to bring in some new players that would, in his own words, take his squad to the “next level”.

"It was what we planned but the market is difficult and complicated,” Arteta explained with just a week of the January window remaining. "We knew that, but it's a lot to manage. We have to make the right decisions with players we believe are going to really help us and try to bring the ones that can take us to the next level.
"The players who come here have to take us to the next level. We already have a level and we want to set much better standards than we already have. That's how we want to recruit."
After failing to do so, thoughts are already turning towards the summer, where a number of players could come through the door.
American ‘keeper Matt Turner has already agreed to join the Gunners, where he will hope to usurp Aaron Ramsdale as the club’s number one.
A new midfielder also promises to be a priority, with Arteta still on the lookout for a long-term partner for £45million-man Thomas Partey at the base of their midfield.
Granit Xhaka is the player most often handed that role, but there is still a feeling an upgrade is required, while Albert Sambi Lokonga arrived with one eye firmly on the future.
But according to reports in Brazil, Arsenal are still on the lookout for more midfielders and have already launched an enquiry to sign Palmeiras star Danilo.
Gunners technical director Edu was heavily linked with his compatriot during the January window, with reports suggesting contact was lodged with his representatives.
That ultimately led to nothing, but Bolavip report that Arsenal have conducted a fresh consultation with an eye on making a bid at the end of the season.
The report suggests that Emirates bosses are fully aware that negotiations with the Brazilian club will be difficult, who do not want to sell at any price.
Danilo has spent the last two seasons Palmerias, winning back-to-back Copa Libertadores titles, before being named the third best player at the FIFA Club World Cup earlier this year, where his side were beaten finalists at the hands of Chelsea.
Still just 20, Danilo has been earmarked as a potential star of the future and Arsenal would likely need to bid more than £10million to acquire his services.
Arsenal have already shown a willingness to dip into the Brazilian market, having signed Gabriel Martinelli from relative obscurity with Ituano in 2019.
