Mikel Arteta and Edu make Leroy Sane enquiry as Danilo drops huge Arsenal transfer hint

Here is your Arsenal transfer roundup on Wednesday, November 23.

Arsenal make Sane enquiry

Premier League leaders Arsenal are among a number of clubs that have enquired about a possible move for Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane.

Sane made his Bundesliga return with Bayern in 2020 after joining Manchester City from Schalke four years prior and according to 90min, the Gunners ‘have asked’ about the situation of the 26-year-old.

The report provides an answer to the shock enquiry stating that Bayern made it very clear that they have ‘no intention’ of letting him go and whilst the winger is ‘considering his options’, Bayern remain confident that he has the manager’s trust so is therefore ‘unlikely’ to push for an exit.

Danilo drops fresh transfer hint

Palmeiras midfielder Danilo has admitted he believes he is capable of proving himself in any competition in the world prompting more talk to arise over a potential move to Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta and Edu have been interested in the Brazilian midfielder for some time and a potential transfer could occur in January as Arsenal seek to boost their squad depth ahead of a possible Premier League title charge.

Speaking to UOL Esporte, Danilo gave some comments about his future with the Gunners heavily linked as a possible destination in January.

Gakpo price revealed

Cody Gakpo has so far been rewarded and proved right for his summer decision to remain in the Netherlands despite a host of European clubs being keen on signing him.

After receiving a World Cup call up for the Netherlands, Gakpo scored in their 2-0 win against Senegal on Monday after getting onto the end of Frenkie de Jong's clipped cross, beating Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy to the ball before flicking home for the opener.

That was already his 16th goal of the season in all competitions, added to his 18 assists for club and country, and it's easy to see why PSV Eindhoven were so keen to keep him over the summer and following a brilliant start to the season his price tag has has now been confirmed.
