Mike Tindall went 'against' royal protocol by having a rant about politics on I'm A Celebrity, an issue members of the Royal Family are expected to keep quiet on.
As well as being a World Cup winner with the England rugby team, Mike is famous for being husband to the Queen's granddaughter and Princess Anne's daughter, Zara Phillips. As soon as his name was linked to the new series of I'm A Celebrity, plenty of eyebrows were raised at Mike's potential involvement in the ITV show, while it was reported that bosses were rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect of him talking about the Royals round the campfire.
It is widely known that the British Royal Family are expected to remain 'neutral' about politics and which party they favour, in an attempt to appear impartial and now be seen to be trying to sway public opinion, so it came as something of a surprise that Mike, while not a blood Royal, was so vocal with his opinions during a chat with campmate Seann Walsh which aired on Tuesday's I'm A Celebrity.
