Mike Pence Refuses To Endorse Donald Trump For 2024 Election

Mike Pence looks focused.

Former Vice President Mike Pence made headlines on Friday when he announced on Fox News that he could not endorse presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump for the upcoming 2024 election. Pence cited significant differences in Trump's current agenda compared to the conservative agenda they governed on during their four years in office.

Pence expressed his pride in the accomplishments of the Trump-Pence administration but pointed out areas where he believes Trump has strayed from conservative principles. These include Trump's stance on abortion, the US national debt, and his recent reversal on the issue of TikTok.

Despite not endorsing a candidate for the 2024 general election, Pence made it clear that he would not support President Joe Biden and indicated that he would not back a third-party candidate either.

Pence's decision to break with Trump on the certification of the 2020 election results was a significant turning point in their relationship. Pence faced backlash from Trump and his supporters for not overturning the election results during the certification process on January 6, 2021.

In his own presidential campaign last year, Pence warned against the dangers of populism and emphasized the importance of sticking to conservative values.

Recently, Pence and his group, Advancing American Freedom, announced a $20 million initiative to promote conservative policies, indicating his continued commitment to conservative principles.
