For the first time since 2016, the Miami Dolphins made it to the postseason in 2022 in the first year under new head coach Mike McDaniel.
McDaniel’s squad accomplished the feat without starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and a slew of injuries on both sides of the ball, and even in the wild-card round against the Buffalo Bills, they had to rely on third-string rookie Skylar Thompson to lead the offense.
While the game on the field was the most important aspect of that January afternoon, there was a separate story that unfolded on social media, as it appeared that McDaniel had been caught vaping on the sideline.

For the first time, McDaniel addressed the rumors on Friday, as he appeared on Barstool Sports’ podcast “Pardon My Take.”
Was Mike McDaniel vaping on the sideline in Buffalo?
We got our answer on today’s show…

In classic McDaniel fashion, he avoids a lot of the question while still giving a humorous answer. While he may not have clearly come out and said it, he seems to give credence to the theory that he was vaping, and he won’t be doing it again.
