Mike D’Antoni sells Manhattan Beach home for $9.5 million after $6.9 million purchase

Mike D’Antoni, the former Lakers head coach, and his wife, Laurel, sold their Manhattan Beach home for $9.5 million. The couple bought the property in April 2013 for $6.9 million, records show, and listed it in March 2015 at $9.8 million. According to the Los Angeles Times, the sale price was nearly 40% more than what they paid. The three-storey contemporary, built in 2003, stands on a corner walk street and has complete or partial ocean views from most bedrooms and public areas. D’Antoni and his wife had relocated to West Virginia that spring.
