Offset’s Bodak Yellow hitmaker wife Cardi B admitted she and her husband had been trying to live their lives "normally", but have been struggling with their grief.
"We're living our life normally, but deep down inside our hearts have been so heavy.
"No lie, I have been feeling so hopeless trying to make my husband happy, trying to make him crack a smile," she said during an interview with The Neighborhood Talk.
She added that it has been difficult "seeing him randomly cry, seeing him trying to distract his mind".
Offset previously spoke out about the death of his cousin and said the pain has been "unbearable".
Taking to Instagram, he said: "The pain you have left me with is unbearable. My heart is shattered and I have so many things to say, but I can't find the words.
"I've been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream, but it's reality, and reality feels like a nightmare," he added. "Every time you would see me, you didn't give me a dap you gave me a hug. I wish I could hug you one last time."
Offset added that he also wanted to be able to laugh and perform with his cousin "one last time".
