A devastated Midlothian family with five kids watched in horror as their home burnt to the ground in front of their eyes.
Samantha Johnson and her three daughters, and two sons watched their home on Woodburn Avenue, Dalkeith, get destroyed by a blaze on Sunday night (March 27).
The family fled into the street with only the clothes on their backs - prompting a massive fundraising effort from friends and family to help replace belongings.

Pal Kelly Dowdeswell, who set up a fundraising page, said: "I’m setting this go fund me up to help raise funds for a local mum and her 5 young kids who have sadly just had to watch their house burn to nothing.
"I imagine this family has lost everything. So every little helps to get the family some clothing and help to get back on their feet."

Locals have now rallied round in Dalkeith with the kind-hearted donations flooding in from across the community.
Some residents offered clothes for Samantha and her kids while others offered cash to help get the family back on their feet.
Pals supporting the family told how the blaze tore through their home while photos from the scene over the weekend show smoke and flams billowing from a first floor window as neighbours watched on in horror from the street.
Friends told how Samantha and her kids fled the burning wreck of their home with only the clothes on their backs.
The family are desperately in need of essentials, including clothing, shoes, toys, baby supplies and home essentials.
Locals offered their best wishes to the family as well as expressing relief no one was hurt before donating clothes, toys and household items to the collection.
A GoFundMe page set up by Kelly had also raised £900 towards its target of £1,000 at the time of writing.
Kelly added: "Let’s help get this family back on their feet with the help of the community, sam and her kids will appreciate and be grateful for every little help."
